Advertising policy

Right now

Hinomark currently shows no ads, has no affiliate links and accepts no paid listings.

Verdicts can't be bought

No one can pay to change a verdict, to have a product added or removed, or to move it up the list. Verdicts follow the ingredients and the official rules only.

If we add ads or affiliate links

Ads, affiliate links and paid listings will be labeled "Ad" or "PR" and look clearly different from verdicts. They will never appear inside the verdict section of a page.

With an affiliate link, we may earn a commission if you buy through it. That never changes the verdict, and we will also show products we earn nothing from.

Information from makers

If a maker sends us ingredient details, we still check them against the package label before marking a product as checked. Anything a maker paid to have shown will be labeled "PR".

Where our information comes from

Verdicts come from ingredient labels we read ourselves, on the package or as published by the maker or a retailer, and from official government sources. Each product page links where the ingredients were read. We don't copy reviews or ratings from other sites.
